What is EPCIS

For an employee :-

EPCIS is a training scheme that allows you to choose from an extensive range of training packages and have the free use of a personal computer. There is a choice of laptop or desktop computer dependent upon the training package that you choose.

 

Because the payments are made from your gross salary, rather than your net salary, you do not pay tax or national insurance contributions on the value of your monthly payments. This leads to significant savings often in excess of 50% of retail price.

 

Whether you are a beginner, intermediate or experienced PC or Apple Mac user there is a package to suit you. The computer equipment has been specifically selected to provide a complete range of specifications to suit you and your chosen training package.

 

By allowing you to pay for the scheme monthly, we are able to bring a complete package of training, computer equipment, MS Office where compatible and warranty, without incurring finance charges that would normally be applied.

EPCIS is a bespoke training scheme that provides employees with their chosen training package and either a laptop or desktop computer.

 

With no costs of implementation, EPCIS benefits the employer by generating savings due to the reduction in NIC Class 1a contributions.

 

EPCIS dovetails with existing training initiatives, but is more tailored to suit an employee's individual needs.

 

Helps to reduce staff turnover, boosts employee morale, increases employee efficiency and confidence with IT equipment. Improves ICT skills whilst enabling employees to up-skill and gain vital ECDL and ITQ qualifications.
